I was educated and brought up in the United Kingdom. I always felt a calling, even from a young age of 7, to seek greater truth towards the real nature of Self. I studied in Henlow Grange health farm in the UK, completing my Esthetician degree, specialising in bodywork and breath. My path lead me to the East, where I began my study of Yoga philosophy and practice of yoga at the Yoga University in Munger, Bihar, India, under Swami Sukadevanada.
In 1996, I began teaching yoga, pranayama, mudras, and bandhas, while continuing my journey into the deep ocean of vedanta studies. My life and perception of the worlds, both inside and outside of me, changed as I continued to study and deepen my practice with Yoga Hari, Swami Vidyananda. Having a strong sadhana and heaps of discipline, I started to embody the word YOGA – living it off the mat and into the world. In 1998, I received my soul initiation into the Brahma Gaudiya Sampradaya yoga lineage, studied and lived in India for several years under the guidance of HH Jayapataka Swami.
Now, based in India, I am the custodian of Yogaparamgati Ashram. Spending 6 months living ashram life and teaching and sharing knowledge of dance and yoga from September - March.
The rest of the year, I travel the globe teaching 5Rhythms dance and sharing the practice of Yoga “as it is” and was practiced a thousand of years ago. I conduct and hold space for deep transformation through my Yoga Teachers Training 200/500hrs, registered under Yoga Alliance International RYS.
With over 3 decades of experience, I consider my contribution to the world a gift, that I myself have received from my teachers and mentors. I am more than grateful for their blessings, which really plays a huge part in who I am today.
In 2000, I met the dance. I felt called in towards a more feminine practice through my connection with the teachings of Gabrielle Roth, an urban shaman and founder of the 5Rhythms. After our initial connection, I knew that I wanted to weave the feminine, fluid, embodiment of movement into my grounded practice of “Yoga”. A beautiful combination of where meditation and dance meet. Now an accredited teacher of the 5Rhythms, I feel I have found everything my body, mind and soul was seeking. My mission and dharma is to offer these gifts to all beings to be embodied, empowered, happy and free. Sharing the sacred ancient teachings of Hatha, Bhakti, Kundalini, Pranavidya, and the 5Rhythms.

“om purnam adah purnam idam”
I pray to always remain in service to the whole.
